Exceptional career opportunity for a senior finance professional to join as CFO for a Berlin-based private equity firm that invests in SME / Mittelstand companies in Germany and across The DACH region. The firm manages a fast-growing portfolio of funds and investments, and this CFO opportunity is to lead all finance operations at the firm.

Key responsibilities include:

Work closely with the senior management team on executing the financial strategy of this growing firm.

All reporting and compliance activities as well as managing the relationship with external service providers.

Lead the finance function for the funds, including accounting, reporting, compliance and tax.

Oversee preparation of quarterly investor reporting and financial statements.

Drive fund operations including capital calls as well as tax and regulatory filings.

Oversee cash management and lead liquidity planning for the funds.

Be the main point of contact for external service providers, such as auditors, tax consultants and banks.

Review of legal documents for fund compliance and investments.

Support the investment team during transactions.

Ensure transparent communication with investors and handling of ad hoc investor inquiries.

We are searching for an experienced senior finance professional with a focus on accounting, audit or controlling, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience working with legal documents, fund administration, transaction advisory or investment controlling would be ideal.

Your responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company’s client base across Germany.

Build and promote long-lasting client relations by partnering with them.

Achieve growth and hit sales target.

Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes.

Review and continuously develop pricing strategy, offerings and legal sales framework.

Negotiate customer and partnering agreements.

Continuously develop and implement effective sales controlling.

Exceptional career opportunity for an experienced Customer Success professional to join a global cloud-based meter data management cloud solutions company in the Utility and Energy sector. We are searching for a Customer Service Director who wants to work in a dynamic environment with varied tasks and responsibilities, which includes leading complex projects with many different stakeholders, from the people in the project up to the executive level. For the first eighteen months this will be a standalone role with the opportunity to then build a team. The Customer Success Director will have a technical background, an understanding of mission critical Enterprise SaaS solutions and ideally have experience of working with grid or with energy retailers in Spain and Portugal. Ideally the customer success director is based in Portugal or Spain, close to our key customers.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop trusted relationships with decision markers with each assigned customer and work as the lead point of contact. Understand each customer’s strategic goals to make tactical recommendations based on the business service offering.

● Gather valuable feedback for continual product improvements.

● Maintain expertise on industry trends/practices and competitive landscape.

● Play a critical communications role by regularly interacting with customers.

This is a hands-on standalone role based remotely, or at their office in Utrecht, NL. You will primarily target large new business opportunities within the Utility and Energy industry across Europe, with a focus on Energy and Utility B2B Retailers.

Research target accounts and develop prospecting campaigns.

Dive deep in understanding their business and the potential for business alignment.

Lead entire sales cycle from initial opportunity creation to finalizing opportunity outcome.

This includes prospecting campaigns, driving the discovery process at meetings with both prospects and clients, forecasting, selling with Value Framework, and ultimately closing the deal.

Engage with sales ecosystem and Partners in support of sales opportunities.
