The company which is based in Berlin is currently a team of 20 FTE with ambitions to scale an international operation to +200 FTE in the coming years and drive the company from a low to high technology readiness level. Responsibilities:

Develop and drive marketing strategy to build brand awareness and reputation
Set clear and quantitative goals and objectives for marketing campaigns and
determine and track KPIs to monitor success of campaign
Devise, create and manage performance-oriented and conversion-optimized
strategies to best address customers within new commercial settings
Monitor and optimize campaign targeting, creatives, marketing messages, marketing
spend and budget allocation
Iterate brand positioning to occupy most appealing niche in German market
Expand and lead the marketing team in a hands-on leadership style
Work closely with the management team to rapidly scale coverage and ensure strong growth of revenue

Interim Chief Financial Officer – Venture Capital Fund Berlin, Germany

Exceptional opportunity for an experienced CFO to join an early-stage venture capital and crypto investment firm who is looking to hire a driven and entrepreneurial Interim CFO to join their team in Berlin on a 12-month contract.

The fund invests in early-stage technology companies and crypto networks mainly across Europe and the US.

As Interim CFO, your responsibilities would include (but not be limited) to:

● Work with the investment team in analysing financial and legal aspects of potential

investment opportunities (cap tables, term sheets, round modelling, financing

and shareholder agreements, SPAC,, etc.)

● Manage service providers (due diligence, legal) during transactions

● Carry out financial analysis on a portfolio and fund level (key metrics such as NAV,

DPI, TVPI, net and gross IRR, reserves analyses, etc.)

● Work on and model portfolio company valuations as well as create new crypto models

● Set up new funds and investment vehicles in the US and Germany

● Find and manage all their service providers across several vehicles / jurisdictions

● Oversee and optimise tax, structural and legal aspects of the fund and management company – together with legal counsel and tax advisors

● Manage all aspects and ensure best in class quality of reporting to the fund’s investors

● Work with our portfolio companies to increase and improve their financial reporting function & provide them with ad hoc requests

● Manage internal processes, incl. budgeting and special projects

● You will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring our Finance Manager

The firm is looking for an Interim CFO with the following background:

● Minimum 8 years professional experience at either

○ The transaction support group of a large accounting and audit firm,

○ The finance team of an private equity or venture capital firm, or

○ Any role that would offer a similar experience and background

● With experience in modelling and financial concepts / valuations

● Very good English spoken and written skills

Required career experience and profile:

10 year working experience as a process driven and proven top performer.

Experience in manufacturing environment.
